How to add a Voicemail Box
Platform allows users to have multiple voicemail boxes for any of their devices. Voicemail boxes can also be created to add to Ring Groups or Menus themselves.
Voicemail boxes can easily be added to almost any action in your Callflow. Here, for example, we’ll add a Voicemail box to Steve’s Grandstream at extension 200:
First, drag and drop the Voicemail element from the right hand side to Steve’s Grandstream (or to the element or action you’d like your new Voicemail box to be attached to.)
We’ll create a new VM box for Steve’s Grandstream by selecting the Add a new mailbox button
Next, add a friendly Name, the Voicemail Number (in this case we matched the VM to the extension number we’re using – 200), and a 4 digit PIN number.
If you’ve already added Media that you’d like to use for the unavailable message, you can apply them here with the Unavailable Message drop-down.
(The Unavailable Message can also be recorded later from the user’s device by dialing *511 and following the voice prompts.)
Select Save and you’re finished! :)
