Determining how many lines your business or team needs helps choose the correct plan size, and pricing plan.
The best tool we use to determine the number of lines an account needs is to ask, "During your busiest day and time, how many calls or users could be on the phone at one time?" That number is often a great place to start, and adding an extra line above that even give you room to grow.
Since we do not require a line for every phone on your account, you can have more phones than you need lines. Areas that are not used for outside calling often, like the Kitchen or Warehouse, can be added your account at no cost.
Also, if your use of phones if less than everyone on the phone at one time, you can save considerable when choosing less lines than phones you have.
If you reach your limit, the next call will ring busy inviting the customer to call back. You can add lines at anytime too.
