Porting a Number to Simple Phone Co.

Edited

Porting a phone number is the process for bringing a phone number from a different provider to us.

This process is simple, and can take 1 to 2 weeks to complete. The number(s) will continue work with your previous provider until the moment they the complete the porting process.

In order to port a number to us, you'll need two items:

1. Proof of Ownership: This is copy of your most recent bill phone from your old phone company, or a CSR (Customer Service Record) if you have a business account.

2. Letter of Authorization: This is a document that gives us permission by you, to port your phone number. We'll include your porting request as the Letter of Authorization to your previous provider.

Once a request is submitted, our team will update you with progress along with any error or rejections. When your porting request is approved, we'll send you an FOC (Firm Order Complete) date and time for when the number(s) will arrive on our network.

Porting numbers is a free service for all Simple Phone Co. customers.
